The Lever Panic lock replaces the key cylinder on new or existing surface-mounted exit devices. The LP1000 can be used with a variety of manufacturer's rim-mounted exit devices.

This lock complies with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards.

- Weather-resistant; all-mechanical construction; ideal for use outdoors.
- Designed for high-frequency use.
- Lock comes with a 2 3/4" (70 mm) long tailpiece to operate exit device from the outside.
- Exit device can have up to 60Ý rotation (either direction).
- Installation may require recessing LP1000 thru-bolts on inside of door.
- LP1000 may not be used with mortise design, or with most vertical rod devices.
- Exit device may be "dogged" without affecting the LP1000.
